The Role

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Media Account Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in expanding their client base. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for the live events industry, who can leverage their extensive network and sales expertise to win new business and cultivate long-term accounts.

Key Responsibilities

As the Media Account Manager, you'll develop and execute strategies to generate leads and drive sales across multiple sectors, including retail, events, and corporate clients. Your role involves proactively researching the market, pursuing new business opportunities, and cold-calling potential clients to initiate new relationships.

You'll attend networking events to expand the client's business network and maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring all leads are followed up. Collaboration with the operations team will ensure seamless execution, while you'll also present the technical benefits of LED/AV solutions to clients, showcasing the value our client offers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 years of consistent sales success, particularly in the live events or AV industry.
  • Proven ability to hunt for new business, win accounts, and grow them into long-term partnerships.
  • A strong business network and a passion for relationship-building.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Interest in sports, hospitality, or events is a plus.
