Nursery Assistant

Are you a qualified Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner looking for a new role in Lambeth?

Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary School and Children's Centre that are requiring Nursery Assistants to work with them on long-term basis starting in September, for the full academic year, until July 2025. The Centre also requires qualified Nursery Assistants to help with short term cover to help with shortness of staff, if you are looking for a flexible role.

This Centre strive to ensure that all children are given the best start to their education through play and interaction with adults.

The shift times for these positions will vary from 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.

Nursery Assistant -

  • CACHE Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 8am - 6pm shift times (negotiable)
  • Previous experience working with a Nursery or Primary setting.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety practices

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Have a positive and friendly demeanour which can be used to be provide positive experiences.
  • Able to provide behavioural management in-line with the school's policies and procedures.
  • A pro-active attitude to ensure students are getting the best experience available to them.
  • Communication skills and able to work well in a team.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
