We are very excited to be recruiting for this role due to INTERNAL PROMOTION. As their Administrator within Technology/IT Department, you will be part of a team of 9+ that support in excess of 1600 users Nationwide.

The role of IT Administrator will predominantly be based in their swanky new offices, based centrally in the City within easy walking distance of Blackfriars, Canon Street, City Thameslink. As part of the team, on a rota basis, you will be required to travel to the firm's regional offices for helpdesk, administration and project work. This will be a day trip generally.

Core hours for the business is 9.30 - 5.30, Monday to Friday but this may vary to share cover for the team - 8.00 am til 4.00 pm, 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, again on a rota basis.

What are your key responsibilities?

Management of logging the tickets in their document management system (M-Files):

  • HR Processes - new starters, leavers, change of employment, maternity leave, sabbatical leave etc.
  • Hardware - replacement PC's/equipment, routers, mobiles etc.
  • Service request tickets
  • Software installs
  • Inventory updates
  • Logging telephone queries as new tickets for the IT Helpdesk to deal with

Inventory & Hardware Management

  • Day to day management of spreadsheets - laptops, mobiles allocated to users in all offices
  • Adding replacement equipment and chasing for return of the old equipment
  • Arranging new laptop and mobile renewals
  • Adding new starters and ensuring equipment is assigned to them and shipped out ahead of their start date
  • Keep on top of allocated spare machines
  • Liaising with ITcontacts, organising for redundant equipment to be collected by their chosen charity
  • Ensure the London office server room is tidy and clear of hazards

Purchase Order System

  • Managing their purchase order system
  • Liaise with main suppliers for quotations
  • Daily management of purchase orders

Managing the Administration Inbox, raising tickets for the Helpdesk, managing the software licensing, ensuring all Licences are renewed before their expiry.
