This company are modernising a lot of systems across the organisation at the moment and refreshing various aspects of what they do. Due to these refreshes, they are looking for a Network Engineer to join them on a long-term basis.
In this role you will be a Technical Lead in the Networking/Infrastructure Team. You will be the go-to senior person, particularly around Fortinet and Cisco. This role will cover all aspects of Infrastructure Engineering including routing, switching, LAN, WAN, WiFi, VoIP, and Azure/AWS. You'll be site based at least twice a week with the remaining 3 days from home.
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Network Engineer with experience of Fortinet Firewalls and Cisco products. Ideally the successful candidate will possess a Cisco Certification but experience is more desirable. Candidates must be commutable to Sunderland twice a week as a minimum.
