Key Responsibilities:

  • ???�? Provide targeted support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, creating individualised strategies to help them engage with learning.

  • ?? Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour management plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • ?? Build strong relationships with students, providing guidance and emotional support both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • ?? Collaborate with families, external agencies, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to supporting each student's mental health and educational journey.
  • �? Track and monitor student progress, adapting support strategies as needed to ensure ongoing improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • �? Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs in a school, care, or therapeutic setting.
  • �? Excellent communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to supporting students' emotional development.
  • ?? A strong understanding of SEMH issues, behavioural challenges, and effective support strategies.
  • ?? The ability to work collaboratively with other staff members, external agencies, and families.
