Position: Registered Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our newly established children's residential care home in Birkenhead, Wirral. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our service, ensuring that we provide the highest standard of care to our residents.
We are looking for you to have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the children's residential care sector.
- At least 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Relevant experience of working in successful Ofsted registered children's homes with good or outstanding rating
In this job you will:
- Lead and manage a team to enable high quality care to be provided for children in a safe and stable environment.
- Monitor staff in relation to the children in their care, provide staff with good quality support, supervision, performance management and appraisal.
- Develop a child centred and stimulating environment, in which children receive high quality physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care.
- Monitor the work of the team, identify areas for improvement and development of personal development plans.
- Work with partners and other agencies to ensure the delivery of integrated services
- Lead on policy development, planning and implementation for the home, liaise with other professionals, third party agencies.
- Take responsibility for managing budgets and seek partnership funding to support individual care plans
- Oversee the recruitment, induction, development, and management of staff
