Main areas of responsibility:
- Demonstrating an inclusive approach to teaching and learning for all pupils.
- Collaborating with a team of four teachers to plan and prepare exciting, engaging lessons.
- Teaching according to the educational needs of the children in the class.
- Disseminating high-quality teaching pedagogy and practices to ensure consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils' development, progress, and attainment
- Maintaining a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
- Embracing innovation, motivation, and eagerness
- Committing to ongoing professional development
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
- Possessing good interpersonal skills and working well as part of a team
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A recognised QTS qualification
- Experience of teaching KS2 pupils in a primary school setting
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and flexible attitude
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
