Are you a recent graduate passionate about education and eager to contribute to young learners' growth? We are looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to support primary school students and enhance their learning experience. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Day to day of the role:

  • Support the class teacher in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Help students develop skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subject areas.
  • Encourage students' personal and social development in a nurturing atmosphere.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining discipline.
  • Work with the teaching team to assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in education, Early Childhood Studies, or a relevant field.
  • Experience working with primary school-aged children is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.
  • A positive and proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration.
