If so, then we have an extremely unique opportunity in an industry-leading consultancy located in outstanding modern offices in the heart of the City of Norwich.

This role will be the most varied and interesting career opportunity to land in your alerts for a long time! A combination of forensic, insolvency and financial accounting as an Insolvency Investigations Assistant.

Go against the grain of moving to industry and check out how this role can fully utilise all your skills and attributes. And you do NOT need any experience as full training will be provided.

The Insolvency Investigations Assistant's role looks like:

  • Evaluating and interpreting financial records.
  • Reviewing and summarising financial data.
  • Examining books and records and all relevant documentation, as well as electronic accounting records.
  • Create written summary reports on your findings.
  • Preparing P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecasts as well as statement of affairs and estimated outcome statements.
  • Attending investigation interviews and meetings with Directors.
  • Drafting letters for senior management review.

As you develop your career in this field your role will become more consultative, and the sky is the limit as to where you can use the skills gained in this profession.

To be considered you will need to be fully qualified but still considered newly qualified, given the training you will receive. A solid understanding of statutory and management accounting would leverage your application.

As previously mentioned, you will have an enquiring mindset, be extremely organised, able to be manage yourself in sensitive situations and have effective communication skills both written and verbal.
