TSR Legal are working with a top 100 law firm who are recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant to work in the Residential Property, Farms, and Estates team in their Bath office. This role offers a fantastic chance to develop your legal career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Management: Handle administrative tasks under the guidance of fee earners.
- Support Fee Earners: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including file-opening, telephone management, document production (audio-typing, managing voice recognition procedures, and coordinating with outsourcing providers), filing/archiving, photocopying, email management, online portal management, and managing post.
- Document Drafting: Prepare documents under supervision using appropriate precedents and templates.
- Legal Processes: Assist in basic legal processes such as processing cases through portals, obtaining documentation, arranging meetings, arranging funding, completing forms, and processing payments.
- Client Correspondence: Communicate with clients via telephone, email, letters, and face-to-face meetings.
- New Enquiries: Handle new enquiries for the department.
- Business Development Support: Assist with business development and marketing activities, including booking facilities, arranging refreshments, booking specialists, and preparing presentation and marketing materials.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or Administrative role.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational ability with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
- IT Proficiency: Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant IT platforms.
- Communication: Strong written communication skills.
- Client Relationship: Demonstrated understanding of client relationship management.
