Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Modern Languages teacher to join our faculty from September 2024. The ideal candidate will possess a good honors degree and demonstrate proficiency in teaching Spanish across all Key Stages. While not mandatory, proficiency in a second language would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and strengths of all learners.
  • Monitor student progress, set targets, and provide regular feedback to promote reflective learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through reports and attending parent evenings.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design an engaging and relevant curriculum.

Requirements:

  • A good honours degree, preferably in Modern Languages or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in teaching Spanish at all Key Stages.
  • Ability to offer a second language is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
