Role: Waste Collection Operative
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Location: Pontypool
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00, Friday, 07:00 - 14:30
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a temporary waste collection operative for a client based in Pontypool immediate start.
The Role:
- To Carry out Waste collection services
- To liaise with the Waste Awareness Officer/Enforcement Officer where there are areas of non-compliance.
- Work in a safe manner, with safe working practices. Ensure that all protective clothing is worn.
- Work within the Health and Safety Policy
- Ensure all spillages are removed.
- Report additional bins, excessive extra plastic sacks, and contaminated bins.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- A good understanding of Health and Safety issues
- Good communication skills
- It is desirable for the post holder has a clean and current driving licence.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
