Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger Assistant required for a new role in Durham. This is full time role dealing with volume invoicing.
The Role
Working for a large manufacturing business with a sizeable accounts team, your duties will include:
Looking after the accounts receivable ledger for your own set of customers,
Raising a high volume of sales invoices and sending to customers, allocation of payments once received.
Checking POs, sale prices of goods and ensure payments match sales invoice. Investigating any discrepancies and escalating any issues to resolve.
Monthly account reconciliation
Liaising with customers via telephone and email regarding payments
Working hours Mon-Thurs 8-5 and Friday 8-1 with hybrid working available once probation period is complete.
Experience
Working towards accountancy qualifications such as AAT or qualified by experience
Excellent IT skills, MS Excel in particular
Remuneration
Circa £25,000 to £28,000 per annum
25 days plus bank holidays
