Job Role: Civils Buyer
Area: Maidstone
Salary: £50k - £60k
My client is looking for an experience Civils Buyer to join their business based on the outskirts of Maidstone, working closely with the directors' duties will include:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent product availability
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance
- Stay updated with industry trends and new products to keep our offerings fresh and competitive
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proven experience as a Civils Procurements role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
