HR Manager
- Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
- Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Generalist to join a leading manufacturing company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This standalone role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, managing all HR-related activities on-site with the flexibility to work one day from home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within a manufacturing and safety environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the site regarding all HR-related issues.
- Implement and review HR policies and procedures in line with employment law legislation.
- Advise on employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, and sickness absence management.
- Liaise with Trade Union representatives.
- Lead HR strategic projects including annual talent reviews, succession planning, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Well-Being initiatives.
- Manage Time and Attendance and oversee payroll processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a standalone HR generalist role.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage various projects simultaneously.
