I am currently recruiting for a Security Architect for my banking clients. This project is focussing on creating and aligning security aspects and components within solutions that adhere to architectural principles and standards as well as the internal Cyber Security Standards. This is an initial 6 month contract, coming around £850/day (Inside IR35).
The key skills required -
- Understand the banks security posture, standards and regulatory obligations and translate into useable architecture standards to guide solutions
- Experience with Application Security
- Review solution options and architecture artefacts to identify gaps and issues around security
- Proven experience as a Security Architect or similar role in a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of security by design principles and IT risk management.
- Knowledge of current IT security technologies and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
- Financial service experience is essential
