Are you a Marketing Manager or someone who is looking to step into Marketing Manager role with experience of B2B marketing and developing/managing a marketing executive?

Do you have experience working in an SME and an enthusiasm to work in a creative environment?

Have you got proven experience of design and delivery of marketing campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness?

Our client has been established for 30 years and offers a great team culture which is collaborative and inclusive. They are looking for a marketing manager, who has strategic skills but is also delivery focused, to develop the marketing function and a recruit a marketing executive into the team.

It is expected that candidates will have 5 plus years experience in B2B marketing ideally, but not essentially, in the creative, media or advertising space.

  • The Marketing Manager will be involved in:
  • Develop annual marketing plans to support the strategic business plan and annual objectives.
  • In conjunction with senior management manage the business's brand guidelines, media positioning & core value
  • Produce engaging, thought-provoking, insight-driven pieces for all sectors.
  • Develop and deliver digital campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales revenue (social media, e-shots etc)
  • Network Presentations - to make changes of a major nature as & when required
  • Media Packs - to create media packs & other specific sales materials
  • Mock-Up's & Photo Library - as needed for pitches; update photo library as required
  • Develop, manage & maintain network consumer audience insights from both primary and secondary research sources
  • Develop insights and write case studies for different sectors
  • Develop good working relationships with primary trading customers
  • Undertake regular benchmarking exercises

The Marketing Manager will have:

  • High energy levels - upbeat & engaging, with a positive outlook
  • Creative and innovative with strong digital marketing skills.
  • Proven experience of writing and delivering marketing and social media plans
  • Good data/analytical skills and sound ability to utilise desktop research tools to gather audience insights and write compelling insights driven content.
  • Copy-writing capability and design/visual comms competency knowledge of Indesign/Canva advantageous although there is a graphics team to support.
  • Experience of leading and mentoring a marketing executive or marketing assistant.
  • Appetite to develop a marketing team and be hands on with delivery activity.
  • Experience of working in a collaborative SME environment, with a flat hierarchy and working closely Directors.
