Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join the department
The successful candidate must have with experience of repairing vintage HiFi radios or "valve" T.V's
Duties include:
- To assess and repair customers amplifiers
- Provide quotes when necessary for work to be undertaken
- To answer phone calls from customers and to give qualified engineers advice and guidance
- Report work undertaken on internal system
- Provide detailed report to be sent back with the amplifier
- To be familiar with internal system to access circuits and diagrams
- Answer technical emails
- Collect parts needed for repair from stores department
- Dispose of components in line with company procedure
- Communicate any recurring issues or technical issues found with manager
- To ensure customer and personal safety at all time
- Organise workshop stock and tool replenishment
- To be on hand to give advice and help to colleagues
Essential requirements:
- Able to give advice and help Colleagues
- Be an excellent communicator
- A qualification within Electrical & Electronics (Ideally BTEC Level 3)
- Experience of repairing Hifi's and TV's
