Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Lead to join their team in Exeter.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to clients while supporting and supervising a team of care staff. Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

Maintain and update on-call logs, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.

Report against key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.

Customer Care:

Conduct and document initial assessments and month 1 reviews for new clients.

Complete medication reviews and six-monthly customer reviews.

Audit care notes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Communicate with healthcare professionals to manage client care requirements.

Develop and write person-centred care plans and complete risk assessments.

Ensure clients have all necessary resources to safely remain at home.

Staff Supervision:

Conduct competency checks for moving and handling, as well as medication administration.

Perform regular spot checks on care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Provide telephone support and team communications as needed.

Deliver direct care when required, contributing a minimum of 10 hours per week.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with clients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
