Finance Manager
Up to £45,000 plus package
We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Finance Manager to join a small and friendly team based in the heart of Northampton. You will play a vital role within the groups operations and will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management reports
- Manage a small finance team, ensuring KPI's are delivered on time, efficiently and processes are followed
- Record all financial transactions, ensuring they are filed and reported accurately whilst checking for discrepancies.
- Manage the groups cashflow, tracking transactions and creating regular internal reports
- Process monthly payroll
- Prepare budgets and financial plans whilst looking for opportunities to reduce costs.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and other periodic HMRC submissions
- Ensure all staff are following company processes, and that all systems and controls are operating effectively whilst adhering to regulations and legislation
- Manage company accounts and investments
- Work with internal and external auditors, and prepare audit packs
About The Ideal Candidate
- Accounting qualification is highly desirable, but candidates QBE will also be considered
- Experienced in a similar role managing a team
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to build both internal and external relationships
