An Environmental Advisor is required to manage and improve environmental performance in a leading manufacturing company.

Client Details

The employer is a well-established chemical manufacturing firm based in Wigan.

Description

  • Monitor and report on environmental performance
  • Coordinate internal environmental audits, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
  • Develop environmental policies and practices
  • Promote and manage sustainable practices
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies
  • Conduct environmental training sessions
  • Manage waste minimisation and pollution prevention initiatives

Profile

A successful Environmental Advisor should have:

  • ISO 14001
  • A degree in environmental management or chemical engineering
  • Chemical/COMAH experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable practices
  • Experience in environmental auditing and reporting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in training and development
