Network Engineer - Lincoln - £50k
Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading organisation in Lincoln to recruit an experienced Network Engineer. This will be a broad and challenging role working with various technologies in an Infrastructure support role that covers the Networks, Servers, Hardware and software applications.
Your role will primarily focus on reviewing, maintaining and improving their Networks. You will be responsible for both BAU and project work for the design, delivery and upgrade of their Networking infrastructure.
This will be a great role for an experienced Network Engineer to join a stable company who are investing heavily in their Networking and Server infrastructure with a massive £10m, multi-year transformation programme already in-flight.
To be considered you will need to have skills in Routing, Switching and Firewalls. Any experience in the following will be highly beneficial:
Networking, Routing, Switching, DNS Management, Firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, VLANs, WiFi Devices, IP-based telephony and WAN utilising SDWAN and DIA. Their infrastructure is Fortinet throughout which would be an advantage although Cisco experience will translate.
All-round infrastructure and server administration skills would also be desirable:
- Windows Server and Desktop
- Active Directory - DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Azure Cloud platforms, Office365
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix)
