Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Shift Times: 6am - 2pm | 3pm - 10pm (Flexible shifts available)

**Do you have a caring nature and a passion for supporting the elderly? Join our team as a Domiciliary Care Assistant in Reading, providing essential care and companionship to elderly clients in their own homes.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support for elderly clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medication as directed by individual care plans.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to help maintain clients' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with mobility, including moving and handling, helping them move around their home or attend appointments.
  • Support with light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and shopping.
  • Record and monitor changes in clients' health and communicate any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.

**Shifts Available:

  • Morning Shift: 6am - 2pm
  • Afternoon/Evening Shift: 3pm - 10pm
  • Flexible part-time and full-time hours to suit your schedule.

**Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving License (required) and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid).
  • A caring and patient personality, with a passion for elderly care.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • The ability to work independently and follow care plans with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
  • Previous experience in elderly care is desirable, but not essential-full training will be provided.
