Our well-established client based in Mid Kent is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This is a site based position.
Description
Management Accountant duties include;
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts for business units.
- Prepare forecasts/ budgets in liaison with operational managers, supporting and advising as required.
- Overseeing payroll checks for sign off.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Analysing financial data and providing insights to the management.
- Enhancing financial systems and processes.
- Collaborating with other departments on financial matters.
- Participating in financial audits.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure all financial deadlines are met.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have/ be:
- A formal qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or working towards).
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (SAP/ SAGE / Workday) is advantageous.
- Excellent analytic skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
