Trainee Area Manager Job in Ferndown
Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a successful client who are currently recruiting for a Trainee Area Manager. This position offers the opportunity to develop over a 24-month period into a working area manager based role.
This trainee role is with a thriving local business who distributes forklifts, storage racking, signage among other products. They also hire out and service several types of equipment. Responsibilities of the Trainee Area Sales Manager:
- Manage the development of new accounts and maximise business within those accounts.
- Establish correct and successful procedures to maintain good customer and prospect contact schedules.
- Optimise work efficiency through effective time management regimes
- Develop a territory plan which will incorporate all the above
- Maintain the company database, updating as required
- Diligently work to meet all sales targets set by the sales management team
- Use all analysis provided by the company to enhance focus on areas which are shown to require additional effort
Minimum requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales role preferred
- Confident with excellent communication skills
- Organised, attention to detail and ambitious
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary £DOE PA
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising by one day a year to a maximum of 30 days after 8 years service
- Pension scheme - 5% by employee and 4% by employer, rising if you choose, to 7.5% each after 5 years service
