Eden Brown Education is working with a leading Further Education College in Oxfordshire to recruit for an Engineering Lecturer.

As an Engineering Lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support.

The successful candidate will be able to teach general mechanical engineering with materials background with the ability to teach calculus, static mechanical principles.

General responsibilities:

  • To identify personal and professional staff development needs to meet the College's Strategic and Operational Plan
  • To ensure continuous professional development (CPD) requirements as specified by the College
  • To read and apply the College Safeguarding procedures

Essential Skills:

  • General Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to teach calculus and static mechanical principles
  • Commitment to active and student-centred learning
  • Commitment to keeping up-to-date with educational developments
  • The work collaboratively with a committed team of teachers and support staff

  • A Recognised teaching qualification (Preferred although candidates with good industry experience also considered)
  • A minimum level 3 Engineering related qualification
  • Experience teaching Engineering up to T Levels
