Events & Marketing Executive - Full-Time Position

Job Description:

My client is seeking an experienced Events & Marketing Specialist to join the Dublin team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in marketing, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. This role is dynamic and multifaceted, involving various responsibilities to support our operations in Dublin while coordinating with our London office. This is a stand alone role in Dublin supporting a team of 10 and the larger operation.

  • Event Management:

  • Attend in-person events and assist with public-facing duties.

  • Arrange transportation and collection of kits, and staff accommodation and travel.

  • Organise and order marketing materials and merchandise.

  • Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets, Outlook, and CRM with relevant event information.

  • Create feedback forms for events.

  • Participate and take minutes in monthly meetings.

  • Lead the Ireland Marketing meeting on a bi-monthly basis.

  • Assist the team with other ad hoc tasks as required.

  • Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team at London HQ, internal teams, clients, partners, and suppliers.

  • Liaise with accreditation bodies in Ireland regarding marketing opportunities and assist with managing existing partnerships.

  • Assist PR consultants with PR-related tasks.

  • Content Creation:

  • Assist management with webinar content, recording, and coordinating speakers.

  • Create graphics for event promotion and social media updates.

  • Create content for advertisements and articles with relevant publications in Ireland (print and digital).

  • Revise and update brochures and promotional materials.

  • Digital Marketing:

  • Organize and send event and service-led email campaigns.

  • Update social media channels as required.

  • Review and update the website from a marketing perspective.

  • Client Relations:

  • Send marketing materials and gifts to clients.

  • Handle enquiries and communications in a courteous and professional manner over the telephone, in writing, and in person.

  • General Duties:

  • Undertake training and development as specified by line manager, management, or director.

  • Observe the company's conduct code, rules, and regulations.

  • Attend corporate functions, internal or other meetings, or events as requested.

Personal Specification

Essential:

  • Experience in marketing, creating campaigns, and content creation.
  • Experience in running and attending events.
  • Experience dealing with professional clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Competence in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to liaise with clients, solicitors, and members of the public professionally.
  • Reliable, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and organize own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a high workload effectively.
