QA Lead - Capital Markets - FX/Equities

Your new role

  • Oversee all aspects of transition of subject matter knowledge including of test tooling and practices from incumbent vendor and build out FX/ Capital Markets Quality Assurance division to deliver best-in-class testing service

across all types of testing - functional, performance, resiliency, disaster recovery, failovers, system integration, regression etc.

  • Manage all aspects of quality assurance

including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

  • Act as key point of contact for all QA for releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Act as a key point of contact to resolve all issues for QA service for efficient and effective testing delivery partnering with vendors providing QA services.
  • Assist in generation of use cases to ensure that all functional/ non-functional requirements of a system are captured during the product design phase.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new/updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated) and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Great experience as a QA lead/ Test Lead in financial organisations - particularly investment banks.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets Domain (Equities or FX).
  • Great experience working within front/ middle office environments and producing regulatory reports.
  • Proven experience in co-ordinating or working with off-shore QA teams.
  • Strong technology background and experience in complex, business critical real time information systems.
  • Strong relationship management skills working with business stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends as and when required.
  • Comfortable working with both internally developed systems and vendor produced systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile team.
