International Sales Manager

As the International Sales Manager you'll need to be very open minded, culturally aware and have the ability to remove blockers. Because as the International Sales Manager you will be covering many countries where the route to market is indirect.

Internationally the brand is experiencing mixed results and needs a leader who can formulate a strategy and drive all markets towards growth or a planned exit. So it's your role to spearhead the turnaround and get this brand firing on all cylinders. Not an easy job but you will have the resources and support available to make this happen.

On a global level this brand is number one in their category and operating within the FMCG space. And so will the role, remit and responsibilities in time so this role would suit an individual seeking a progressive career.

Your new role (International Sales Manager)

The key responsibilities of the International Sales Manager are:

  • To establish a plan for turnaround and growth
  • Identifying risks and opportunities managing these accordingly
  • Building strong relationships with distributors
  • Growing and improving the profitability of your markets through international distribution partners
  • Optimising product ranges

Reporting into The General Manager this is both the challenge and charm. You'll learn lots from a highly capable individual but hey he's the GM and as the sales manager the support requested should be by exception with an accompanied recommendation for action.

Benefits

  • Base salary = £65k to £79k
  • WFH ~60% | Bracknell ~40%
  • International Travel (6 to 12 per year)
  • Bonus up to 20%

Skills and experience to be successful

  • Strong at building relationships preferably with distributors
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ability to understand a simple P&L and drive profitability through insight
  • A cultural awareness and sensitivity of international markets

The Interview Process

  • 40 minute TEAMS interview with The GM + 1 other.
  • 120 minute face to face interview with The GM + 1 other. There will be a presentation and store visits on the day.
  • 20 minute TEAMS informal conversation with the People & Culture Manager
