Your new role
The Operations Administrator role involves supporting smooth operations within the organisation. Key responsibilities include managing the supply, installation, and commissioning of EAS and RFID equipment, handling customer enquiries, selecting subcontractors, and coordinating projects. The role also involves managing orders, deliveries, returns, and processing credits and debits, supporting Account Managers, managing stock, and ensuring accurate invoicing and payment. It also involves processing invoices, providing first-line technical support, supporting the Customer Service Engineering team, and following up on service calls requiring additional visits.
What you'll need to succeed

  • GCSE or equivalent (required)
  • Customer service: 2 years (required)
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
  • Confident and self-motivated, able to manage daily workload and prioritise tasks while supporting others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to establish rapport with colleagues, customers, and other departments.
  • Essential computer and database skills; SAP user skills are desirable.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask across department areas after training.
  • Keen attention to detail, taking responsibility for fine details.
