Head of Data Insight - Remote - Leading Charity .

Head of Data Insight Urgent needed for a leading Charity .

Remote-based but you will need to go on site one or two days a month to their London office.

The role will lead the strategic direction for data, UX and insights and oversee the delivery of key projects.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead the implementation of the overall data and insights vision and strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in, support and investment in data and insights to help evolve our culture to embed a more data-centric, evidence-based mindset
  • Lead delivery of the data and insights roadmap, ensuring appropriate management of resources to meet priorities as agreed with key stakeholders.
  • Champion and implement the use of tools or services such as data visualisation, dashboards etc which help to drive behaviour change, both of staff and volunteers, to become more evidence-centric
  • Identify and address gaps in data and insight capability and capacity
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of data and insight specialists
  • Optimise impact measurement by aligning to established data measurement frameworks
  • Drive and oversee provision of master data management and data warehousing initiatives
  • Ensure the effective delivery of business intelligence, analytics, and insights pipelines, moving to a predictive analytics model
  • Provide assurance for the organisation's Information Governance and Research and Insights procedures
  • Work with the leadership team and stakeholders to evolve the culture to become more data-led, evidence-based, including presenting to boards, committees where required.
  • Actively contribute to the overall management of the Transformation team and delivery of Digital Transformation Strategy

Skills and abilities

  • An effective leader, coach, and mentor, with a record of building, inspiring, and empowering high performing teams across a range of data /insights specialisms
  • A track record of success in delivering outcomes and beneficial change through data and insight
  • The ability to influence, engage and negotiate with multiple stakeholders with a high level of interpersonal, advocacy, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate data and information into actionable insights tailored for stakeholder interests, and to design appropriate data research, collection and visualisation mechanisms
  • Ability to build strategic collaborative relationships and partnerships across areas of responsibility
