Site Manager – Exeter
An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable regional contractor as a Site Manager on a permanent basis. This contractor's type of works includes refurbishments within Education, Healthcare and Commercial valuing circa £2m operating between Somerset and Plymouth.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients and reporting progress
- Supervising contracted construction workers
- Meeting and managing subcontractors
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Motivating the workforce throughout the project
- Day to day problem solving
- Using specialist construction management computer applications
- Ensure compliance and Health and Safety Regulations are in place and met at all times
Requirements:
- Trade background
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS Card
- UK driving licence
