Gas Engineer

**Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer with Plumbing Experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas systems as well as carrying out various plumbing duties. This includes working on heating systems, boilers, and general plumbing in both domestic and commercial settings.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and maintain gas appliances, central heating systems, and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas and heating systems, ensuring compliance with current safety regulations.
  • Perform general plumbing tasks including pipework, fittings, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on gas and plumbing systems.
  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding energy efficiency, heating options, and plumbing solutions.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, including safety certificates and maintenance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Gas Safe regulations, and company policies.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs for gas leaks, heating failures, and plumbing issues.
  • Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service.

**Qualifications and Experience:

  • Gas Safe Registered (mandatory).
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Gas Engineer with strong plumbing skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current gas and safety regulations.
  • Experience in installing and maintaining boilers, central heating systems, and gas appliances.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Full UK driving license (if applicable).
