Payroll Specialist

We are delighted to be partnering with a growing business who are seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role is newly created to help support the current Payroll Manager with both UK and overseas Payroll. Within this role, you will report into the Head of Benefits. This role is a fully remote position, with the head office based in London. You will be required to travel to London once or twice a year, and ideally be based in and around the Cambridgeshire area to meet with the Payroll Manager on ad hoc occasions.

As the incoming Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:

  • Compiling payroll data in line with internal processes
  • Data entry for monthly payrolls, both UK and overseas
  • Be the first point of contact for Payroll queries
  • Produce payroll reports
  • Assisting with accounting queries
  • Additional ad hoc duties as required

As the successful candidate for this position, you will have previous experience working within a previous payroll position, with strong knowledge of UK procedures and processes. Knowledge of overseas Payroll is considered advantageous but is not a requirement. You will also have excellent communication skills, on both a written and verbal level. Additional attributes you will demonstrate include:

  • Team player and happy to assist with responsibilities outside of the scope of the job description
