Events and Conferences Administrator

This high-profile public body is looking to recruit an Events and Conferences Administrator to support the delivery of their wide-ranging programme of conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities of the Events and Conferences Administrator role:

  • Act as first point of contact for queries regarding events, providing accurate responses and first-class customer service.
  • Support the set-up of online events on the designated platform, communicating log-in details and any other technical details to speakers.
  • Assist with venue sourcing and preparing detailed event-specific materials.
  • Prepare and distribute delegate badges and events materials.
  • Report on the success of events to monitor the performance of the department.
  • Contribute to the success of events by undertaking on-the-day responsibilities.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience of working in an administrative, customer-facing environment and handling complex queries.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Salary and Further Details:

  • £14.00 per hour.
  • Full-time, 2-month placement, due to start as soon as possible.
  • Based in central London, with remote-working provision for part of the week.
