Behaviour Mentor - Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking an enthusiatic Teaching Assistant to support young people with Social and Emotional needs and a diagnosis of Mental Health needs.

A specialist Ofsted Good SEMH provision are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with challenging behaviour, past trauma, social and emotional difficulties and mental health difficulties.

The provision has a great team who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. They provide a theraputic enviroment and a theraputic approach.

A strong personality, a sense of humour, a theraputic approach and resillience are all needed for this post.

This is a long term position to startin September.

Full time: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday

Teaching Assistant, Mental Health, Childcare or Youth Worker experience is essential, and you will need to be confident and have experience with managing behaviour that challenges.
