Location: Ascot

Salary: £36,000 + 10% business and performance based bonus

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Field Development Manager to join their team. As a Field Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing field operations by providing comprehensive support to the salesforce. Field Support & Team Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Area Managers to support branch operations, ensuring smooth coverage during absences and vacancies.
  • Provide valuable support to the Sales Team during periods of leave, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.

Communication & Reporting

  • Assist Branch Managers by providing updates on sales initiatives and other relevant information, fostering effective communication channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the field and the wider organisation, relaying feedback to improve the overall performance of the support system.
  • Support the implementation of new field initiatives and strategies to drive continuous improvement.

Inventory & Studio Management

  • Oversee the inventory ordering and tracking processes for newly opened studios, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Maintain regular communication with Studio Assistants to monitor studio success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing studio redecoration or renovations as required, creating an inviting and inspiring environment.
  • Track the success of studio lease extensions and evaluate their impact on field operations.

Project Development

  • Take charge of expanding field projects after initial pilots, providing support across all branches to drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Manage ongoing projects aimed at enhancing field operations and sales effectiveness, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.

Advisor Network Expansion

  • Actively manage job advertisements on various platforms, such as Indeed, to attract top talent and facilitate a seamless recruitment process.
  • Contact potential candidates, schedule opportunity meetings, and coordinate with Branch Managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.

Event Organisation

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Project Manager to plan and execute sales events, creating memorable experiences for the salesforce and customers.
  • Take an active role in sourcing gifts, selecting venues, and ensuring the successful execution of sales events.
  • Attend field activities and branch meetings on an ad-hoc basis to provide support and gather valuable insights from the salesforce.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data and create impactful presentations.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Prior experience in a sales development or projects role, preferably with some line management experience.
  • Regular travel within the UK and Ireland is required
