People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our well-established client based in the Warrington area.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivery of palletised goods across the UK.
- Day work consists of 2-4 store deliveries per day, on pallets. Loading and unloading done at site.
- Night work consists of trunking work.
- Performing daily safety checks on the vehicle.
- Completing relevant paperwork, such as delivery notes and consignment documents.
- Reporting any vehicle defects, maintenance needs, or accidents promptly.
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C+E Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential
Training
- Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
- After successful Assessment, there will be a paid induction
