They are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with 1 year of Building Services experience to join their team.
Your new role
- Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of Mechanical Building Services systems
- Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems
- Carry out in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Revit, Autocad, Hevacomp, IESVE, etc.
- Representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.
- Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works.
- Report and technical note writing.
- Adherence to all quality, environmental and governance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related subjects.
- At least 1 year of experience in Mechanical design engineering on Building Services projects.
- Knowledge of Mechanical systems and building codes.
- Some experience working in a design consultancy and/or experience of working within a contractor design environment is essential.
- Have knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
