Deputy Nursing Home Manager

A not for profit Charity are seeking an RGN/RMN qualified Deputy Nursing Home Manager for a 33 bedded Elderly Nursing Home near Stanmore, London.

This is a fantastic home to work for with a caring senior team and a wonderful Director who puts her staff and residents first.

Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Manager:

  • Assist in managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals
  • Ensuring the provision of high quality care
  • Overseeing the care staff and assuming full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present
  • Ensure each resident's care plan and daily records are up to date.
  • Have a caring, enthusiastic attitude towards work and build relationships with residents and staff team

Deputy Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead
  • Good knowledge of CQC standards
  • Ability to engage with the service users and understand their needs
  • NMC registered with an active PIN
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
