The role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a full-time role with 2-3 days in the office and the rest of the time at home. Duties will include:
- Responsible for the preparation of research and suitability reports for the advisers.
- Responsible for day-to-day paraplanning tasks to ensure the timely and accurate completion of reports identifying what's required where client cases have information missing or outstanding actions.
- Act as a paraplanner mentor for less experienced team members.
- Assist in identifying areas for planning and sourcing solutions suitable to meet the clients needs and objectives.
- Liaise with product providers and other third parties.
- Deal with client technical queries.
Essential skills
- Relevant experience gained in a paraplanning role either with an IFA or restricted adviser.
- Thrive working as part of a strong team, helping colleagues, and assisting clients with queries.
- Possess a good eye for detail.
- Excellent IT skills including industry systems (knowledge of Intelliflo's Intelligent Office back-office system is desirable, but not essential).
- Motivated with the ability to work in an often-busy environment to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to form excellent working relationships with your co-workers.
- Level 4 diploma in financial planning qualified or progress towards it.
