This unique, award-winning educational organisation are currently seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their collaborative, high-performing team on a nine-month Fixed Term Contract. Based in London, this role will be responsible for the financial management your own directorate, liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the seniority spectrum to enable them to deliver targets.

The key duties of this Assistant Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Take the lead in the production of the monthly management accounts for each area under your remit.
  • Full responsibility for conducting variance analysis, challenging anomalous spends and devising plans to bring spending back in line with budget.
  • Provide critical support to your key stakeholders in the production of the annual budget, feeding the final numbers through to the Head of Finance for consolidation.
  • Produce the in-year quarterly forecasts and work closely with the line manager in the production of the monthly management packs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions with your budget holders in the interest of enhancing their financial understanding and encouraging them to take a greater deal of budget ownership.
