Process Technician

The Role:

  • Working in a team of 17 (will be 20) across 4 shifts. There are 4 lead technicians, 1 senior lead technician on the day shift and the rest are operators and technicians.
  • There will be 5 on each shift including the lead technician or the senior lead technician.
  • To ensure shift production targets are achieved in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with company and regulatory standards Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety and industry accreditations
  • Operate all plant processes to ensure production targets are achieved in volume, quality and efficiency
  • Looking after production process all the way through the process section and chemical section
  • Process optimisation and implementation
  • Ensure all sampling and testing of production processes are carried out and recorded
  • Ensure all safety and preventative maintenance checks are undertaken
  • Assist maintenance technicians in event of a breakdown
  • Ensure qualitystandards are maintained
  • E nsure production waste is moved to designated disposal location

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience operating in SCADA systems is essential
  • Experience operating in PLC systems
  • Experience with goods manufacturing process (GMP)
  • Background in production
  • Knowledge of high pressure and high temperature vacuum systems, conveyors and piping systems is desired
