Position Overview:

Are you a driven and personable individual with a passion for sales? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's dynamic team as a Student Lettings Negotiator.

As part of their growing student lettings business, your primary responsibility will be to conduct property viewings for their extensive student portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to succeed, loves interacting with others, and is motivated by achieving targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Property Viewings: Schedule and conduct property viewings with prospective student tenants, showcasing properties in the best possible light.
  • Engage with Prospective Tenants: Build rapport with students, answer their questions, and provide detailed information about the properties and the letting process.
  • Close Deals: Convert viewings into lettings by effectively communicating the benefits of the properties and addressing any concerns or objections.
  • Manage Enquiries: Handle incoming enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with the preparation of tenancy agreements, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Market Properties: Assist in the marketing of available properties through various channels, including online listings and social media, to attract prospective tenants.
  • Manage viewing reps: Manage a team of temporary student ambassadors during the busy lettings season

Requirements:

  • Sales-Driven: A strong passion for sales with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Personable: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with prospective tenants.
  • Energetic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritise with ease.
  • Organized: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all viewings and enquiries are handled efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or property management is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are most important.
