Are you passionate about data governance and ready for a dynamic challenge? We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Manager to play a vital role at this leading international bank based in the heart of London. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering effective collaboration between teams.

Duties of the Data Governance Manager to include:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.
  • Providing support to teams across the bank to ensure understanding and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address data governance issues.
  • Participate in data quality assessments and support initiatives to improve data quality.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation related to the data governance process.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions to educate teams on data governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with ITD to facilitate the implementation of data governance tools and technologies.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to data governance activities.

What we need from you:

  • Educated to University Undergraduate level in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Computer Science etc)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are essential
  • Familiarity with T24, SQL, and Power BI highly advantageous
  • Previous experience working within banking preferable
  • Excellent understanding of data governance principles is essential
  • Cantonese language skills would be highly advantageous
