Reed Finance are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team of an established local business who form part of an international group. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a solid foundation in accounting combined with a desire to contribute to the continued financial success of the company. Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
- Month end close processes and budgeting activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial procedures and systems.
- Annual budget and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinating audit preparations, developing necessary schedules.
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
- Overseeing payroll processes and pension management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- A recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Experience in accounting, financial analysis, or budget development.
- Confidence with IT and finance systems skills including Excel.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to non-finance colleagues.
