Our client is looking for a Senior Airfreight Export/Import Clerk, with around 5 years' experience+
Role Purpose:
Working within a busy Air & Ocean department - to work within a team to receive bookings from agents/customers alike, to complete all air export/import requirements including customs clearance, duty/vat and all other processes involved.
Main duties:
- Speaking to customers/agents daily.
- Receiving bookings from customers / agents.
- Raising files within company software system.
- Preparation of clearance instructions.
- Speaking to Company Gateway office, customers, and hauliers.
- Checking flight arrival dates.
- Maintaining customer spreadsheets where required.
- Ensuring correct documentation is presented / obtained.
- Raising invoices to customers / agents.
- Raising duty / vat invoices.
- File queries.

Qualifications (e.g. GCSE in Maths and English, Degree, Professional Body Membership etc):
- GSCE in English and Math's (Grade C and above)
The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary up to £40K depending on experience.
