Reed Education are supporting a school in their search for a Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department in September. Our school is committed to delivering excellent results at both GCSE and A Level and this opportunity will be ideal for a Chemistry Specialist who is enthusiastic about contributing to our students' success.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering inspiring and engaging Chemistry lessons to students across GCSE and A Level.
- Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love for science.
- Preparing lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
- Monitoring and evaluating students' progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Participating in departmental meetings, school training, and continuous professional development activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's vision and goals.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Achieved or working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young people.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
- Experience in teaching Chemistry at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
