Sales Intern with Opportunity for full-time Role- Graduates

Peltrade Ltd is a rapidly expanding renewables company specialising in Biomass and Alternative Fuels Wholesale and Supply. We operate across the EU and UK markets and are committed to sustainable energy solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Trainee/Intern to join our team in the UK.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern with the opportunity to become permanent.

What you will learn

  • As a Sales Trainee/Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing strategic customers and ensuring smooth trading operations.
  • Contract Management: Assisting in executing contracts, managing payments, and organizing documents with customers. Coordinating cross-trade shipments with suppliers and customers to meet contractual obligations.
  • Market Analysis: Learning to analyse market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities. Understanding market dynamics to identify opportunities for securing long-term and spot deals/sales.
  • Delivery Management: Learning to schedule deliveries, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery. Assisting in addressing any delivery delays or issues by communicating with hauliers.
  • Complaints Handling: Investigating client complaints, identifying causes, and contributing to resolutions with the supply team. Assisting in collecting necessary information for valid claims and customer feedback
  • Customer Relationship Management: Supporting the contact between customer and supplier operation teams. Learning to facilitate smooth communication and operation of shipments to minimize additional costs.
  • Administrative Support: Providing assistance to clients with administrative requests such as proof of delivery, invoices, and certificates. Assisting in resolving payment-related issues and managing complaint resolutions.
  • Shipping Operations: Observing and assisting in monitoring vessel movements in coordination with the shipping operations team as well as Local logistics
  • Compliance: Learning to ensure adherence to compliance and local regulations in all trading activities.
  • Record Keeping: Ensuring accurate saving of all operational information on company systems promptly and maintaining adequate records in the CRM.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (Business and Academic)
  • Other languages are an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of trade concepts
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
