Accounts Receivable Specialist

I am looking for an Accounts Receivable & Billings Specialist to join the finance team of my client and play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate invoicing of partners and the collection of payments. This position is perfect for someone with prior experience in accounts receivable and billing who is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, with a focus on timely and accurate invoicing, managing customer accounts, and following up on overdue payments.
Day to Day of the role:
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for management.
- Implement deadlines for invoicing and payment collection.
- Monitor the invoicing and money collection processes to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Adhere to company SLAs at all times.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues.
- Provide billing knowledge and expertise to Sales staff.
- Manage and deliver on small finance projects as required.
- Identify challenging process areas and opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and commitment to working projects through to completion.
- Confidence to work autonomously and liaise with a diverse range of individuals.
- Team player mentality.
Highly Advantageous:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Currently studying towards a finance qualification.
- Familiarity with cellular network or broadband network environments.
